POD: Treats
Tonight I dropped Violet’s skates to get sharpened and there was a bit of a wait, so I found myself browsing the local BulkBarn and I just had to pick up some tasty treats.
POD: Cloudy Night
Today was a busy but boring day, with me spending most of it staring at a screen or doing some work around the house.
POD: Score Keeper
Tonight, Violet had her first game as Score Keeper for a DS game, till now she had only done house league games.
POD: Early Exit
After a hard-fought tournament Violet team wrapped up with a consolation game against Detroit. After a rough first day with two loses, they managed to play hard and end the tournament with 2 loses and 2 ties.
POD: Playing Hard
It’s a tournament weekend, which just means in instead of 1 or 2 Hockey games, Violet has 4. Two Friday, Two Saturday and if all goes well some on Sunday. Tonight’s picture of the day is violet playing hard in the second game of the day.
POD: Night before a tournament
With the team heading to a tournament tomorrow, the coach took tonight’s practice to get them ready. I couldn’t help but snap a picture.
POD: Hockey Game with Violet
Life can be strange, tonight I went to the Leafs game with Violet. Melissa won tickets but was unable to go, so it was just me and Violet. What is just strange is that it’s exactly 3 years since her team won tickets and we went together.
POD: Sleeping Ruby
One fun thing about working from home is I can see what happens around the house when nobody is usually home. Today I found Ruby curled up in Violet’s bed. She looked so comfortable, she barely even noticed when I slipped in to get my picture.
POD: New Ballet Shoes
Seems my little girl won’t stop growing, so this weekend we found ourselves at the dance store looking for new ballet shoes, I’m not sure if its a comfort that I think these are the first pair we had to replace more because she had worn them out then that her feet had grown.
