Early this morning, the tournament continued. The game started at 9 am, so Violet and I were on the road before 7:30am. I took today’s picture of the day while she warmed up, taking shots at the boards.

POD: Ball Hockey Tournament
Tonight, Violet played the first game of a ball hockey tournament with women from the women’s league she plays in. It was a great game. Her team, Toronto Monks tied it with 1.1 seconds left.

POD: Linemates
Tonight’s picture of the day is from Violets hockey game. They lost 3-0, the third goal being an empty netter. They had some amazing chances but just couldn’t get the puck in the net. I captured this moment as her line skating down the ice for an offensive zone face-off.

It’s Tuesday, so that means an hour and a half practice at Albion arena. I’m just so happy to see her on the ice I can’t help but make it my POD.

POD: Post Game Handshake
Another day and another high-school hockey game. I love this pick because, Violet and one of her Rep team mates are shaking hands in the line.

Today, Violet tied up her skates to play with her high-school team for the first time. She was so excited to get back on the ice for a game. I love that she has a chance to get back into playing games before her Rep team hits the ice this weekend.
