So tonight Violet came to me and asked me if she could make a cake. After a little convincing I said sure. So today’s picture of the day is the finished result. I think she didn’t wait for the cake to cool before putting on the icing. Still it’s a tasty cake.

POD: A morning walk
A new year a new beginning and so once again I return to posting a picture each day. Today was such a mild day that I started it by taking Ruby for a bit of a walk, and of course, our kitty had to come along too.

Friday night and I found myself in bed early, waiting for Melissa to get home from work. Its rare that just Ruby and me are in bed, so I captured today’s POD while we waited for her.
